A small yet thought generating discovery centre. Best for high school aged children and adults. Your understanding and beliefs of life's simple and complex nature will be challenged.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with curious children aged 10 and up, teens, and adults who engage with conceptual ideas. The exhibition format rewards visitors who read and interact with each installation rather than moving quickly through. Younger children can participate with adult guidance. Free entry makes it a low-commitment addition to a day in the city.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

It's my first time visiting MOD. What a great way to educate and entertain at the same time. There're lots and lots of media used to explain how our earth changes and what's the implications of it. With a visit wrap by story step by step, we are introduced to every piece of meaningful arts, color plates, lights art and so many messages around the corner. Everything is set beautifully and meaningfully. I really enjoyed it.

Wow the Forever exhibition is truly something amazing Great fun playing and learning, and such a cool concept to get us thinking about some really deep questions about life, death, time and mortality Go in with a child’s wonder and you can easily spend 2 hours engaging with all the activities Thank you to the wonderful guide Prianca and team. Will definitely be excited to see what comes up next year

This is a great space on a cold day. It was cosy and warm. Lovely staff. Lots of interactive exhibitions full of interesting facts, things to learn and creative displays that will expand your mind and grow your imagination. Kat Bell's exhibition was a highlight with an interactive digital media installation that you could control whilst lounging on comfy pillows.
