1 / 3Powerhouse Motorcycle Museum
📍 East Tamworth, NSW
Private collection of 65 motorcycles spanning a 1924 Harley Davidson postie bike through to modern electrics. Curator Craig provides detailed history on every machine — engaging even for seven-year-olds with zero bike knowledge.
Awesome collection. Curator was very helpful. Doing an intro. And a lot of information on individual bikes. Where else are you going to see a Kawasaki 900 with just 2 miles on the clock. Highly recommend to any bike enthusiast.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids who love engines or mechanical things — Craig enthusiasm converts even non-enthusiasts. A 7-year-old with an interested parent will get more from this than most museums. Works as a 45-minute road-trip stop rather than an all-day destination.

“We stopped past on our journey through Tamworth and were pleasantly surprised by the motorcycle collection! Even though we're not bike enthusiasts, we really enjoyed seeing them. They're all in fantastic condition, and there are so many to look at. The staff member incredibly friendly and gave us some great information about the motorcycles, making our visit even better.”

“Well worth a visit if you are interested in motorcycles. It's a private collection (or part thereof) and includes an impressive range of bikes from different eras. I think there were about 65 on display. 10 bucks to get in which I felt was good value for money. Check it out.”
