Saska
π Beaumaris, VIC
Neighbourhood cafe in Beaumaris with a shaded back courtyard, dog-friendly outdoor seating, toys and books for children, and a menu spanning Reuben sandwiches, sushi bowls and breakfast dishes. Welcoming of families with young children.
Late lunch win! Strolled past 10 mins before the kitchen closed on a warm Tuesday arvo and they still welcomed us with smiles and quick service. The courtyard out back was a dream - shady, cool, and perfect for our two huskies to sprawl out. Food was fresh, tasty, and just what we needed. Thanks to the team for making it easy and relaxed. If youβre looking for a pet-friendly spot with great vibes and good food, this is it!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and young children who want a relaxed, unhurried meal without a strictly child-focused venue. Toys and books keep small kids occupied. The courtyard is a strong option on sunny days. Dog owners can bring their pets to the outdoor area. Counter service can be slow during quiet periods β flag your presence on arrival.

βFood was absolutely delicious from here. The breakfasts are very highly recommended and we're very glad we visited! Our dog was allowed with us in the outside seating area too, but there were tables inside too for another time. Service was good and they very friendly and polite. It got very busy which was a good sign and the coffee was decent too.β

βWow we had the Rueben Sandwich and the sushi bowl which were both sooo delicious. It was hard to choose actually because there were so many great choices on the menu. Atmosphere was great and staff were all super friendly. Would definitely recommendβ

βGood coffee, good food and a nice atmosphere. The lamb sliders do look a bit lost on the otherwise empty plate though for the price. Lovely that the CafΓ© has several issues with 2 of the big Australian newspapers.β
