Tesselaar Kabloom Festival
π Silvan, VIC
Tesselaar Kabloom Festival transforms a working flower farm into a seasonal spectacle of colour, live circus acts, bubble shows, a train ride, and a hedge maze. Fields of vivid blooms stretch across the landscape during the spring festival run.
We had the absolute pleasure of attending the Kabloom Festival this year, and it was nothing short of magical! The setting alone was enough to take your breath away, the sprawling fields of flowers were a true highlightβvivid colours blanketed the landscape in waves of color. The food selection was equally impressive. From poffertje food trucks to cozy stalls offering everything from hearty burgers, yummy twisted potatoes and floral-inspired treats, there was something to satisfy every craving for all ages The gift and flower shops scattered throughout the grounds were a delight to explore. Packed with handmade goods, gorgeous floral selections, and locally made treasures, they were the perfect place to pick up a keepsake or two. This festival is a must-visit. Whether youβre a nature lover, a foodie, or just looking for a relaxing and joyful day out in the Dandenong Ranges, it delivers on every front. Five stars without hesitation!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids aged 3 and up who enjoy outdoor events with varied entertainment. The circus show, train ride, maze, and open flower fields give children multiple things to do across a full day. Arriving early is the single biggest factor in a smooth experience β both for parking and for making all the shows.

βFESTIVAL SEEMS BIGGER AND MORE THOUGHT OUT EACH YEAR. ALOT OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS, ENTERTAINMENT, FOOD AND PLENTY MORE. ONLY DOWNSIDE IS EXIT TRAFFIC COORDINATION. IT GETS FRUSTRATING AND DANGEROUS WITH FAMILIESβ

Overview
Kabloom Festival runs seasonally at the Tesselaar flower farm in Silvan, filling the property with millions of blooms across rolling fields. Families move between a circus show, bubble performance, train ride, and hedge maze alongside dedicated kids activities. Food stalls and market-style shops round out the day. Exit traffic can back up β arriving early avoids the worst of it.
