Warratina Lavender Farm
π Wandin North, VIC
Working lavender farm in Wandin North with rows of flowering lavender, a farm shop stocked with lavender products, raspberry picking, and food including lavender scones, lavender milk, and lavender ice cream.
Annemarie and her team are fantastic! For those complaining about opening/closing times or βbarely any lavenderβ; perhaps call ahead? Unfortunately, the owner of a business canβt control the weather or the way that flowers bloom ππͺ»πΎπ My colleague and I were in touch with her prior to a private tour with a group of older adults and Iβve never met a business owner as down-to-earth, savvy, knowledgeable and welcoming as her. A beautiful, family-run establishment that Iβd recommend to anyone who loves gardening, flowers, lavender, learning, agriculture or simply a beautiful day out. The lavender scone and coffee were fantastic, and beyond reasonably priced! Looking forward to returning and trying out their other menu items.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with curious kids and adults who appreciate slow, sensory experiences. Raspberry picking adds an interactive element for younger children. Call ahead before visiting in autumn or winter as post-harvest periods mean fewer blooms β the farm shop and tours operate year-round and the visual impact of the fields is seasonal.

βWe had such great time visiting the farm due to Annemarie's friendliness, warmth and deep understanding of lavender. Eventhough when we came, they have just harvested the lavender so we didn't see it in its full glory. I still feel that we didn't miss a thing because they offered in-depth talk about what they do with the harvested goods, how to choose your oils and the kind of lavender products that you might buy. We bought quite a bit and the room spray is especially powerful. My sister sprayed the room with it and we fell asleep within minutes! π The food was great and pretty, the entrance fee comes with a small cup of lavender ice cream, and overall, a very satisfying experience.β

βThe place was quite very nice. But the farm was not as much as big what I thought. They have rasberry picking too. The lavenders are totally outside from the counter. Their lavender products like room spray, dry lavenders, bath products are very good though. That lavender ice cream was very strong. Eat your own risk. I like that palce and I am sure my little one too π₯°β

βWarratina Lavender Farm is such a lovely, peaceful spot. The rows of lavender make it feel calm and picturesque, and the shop has all sorts of lavender products, even edible ones. I tried the lavender scones and the lavender milk, and both were delicious, with that gentle floral flavour that makes the experience feel special.β
