1 / 3We Rock the Spectrum (WRTS) Adelaide
๐ Kilkenny, SA
Specially designed sensory gym for neurodivergent children featuring zip lines, trampolines, sensory equipment, a calming room, and an arts and crafts section. Staff are trained in autism and sensory needs.
Thereโs no better place to bring a neurodivergent child when theyโre feeling overwhelmed or just need a safe space to relax. Right on the wall, a big sign reads, โA place where you never have to say sorry,โ and that perfectly sums up the atmosphere. Every time Iโve visited, the smiles on everyoneโs faces show just how special this place is. The staff are incredibly friendly, genuinely engaged, and more than happy to get down on the floor to play, laugh, and connect with the kids. They truly understand autism and neurodiversity, showing respect, patience, and care in every interaction. Thereโs something here for every childโspinning, swinging, crashing, sliding, climbing, building, or simply unwinding in the quiet room. This place is pure magic for my child and me. If youโre looking for a space where your child can feel safe, understood, and truly seen, I canโt recommend it enough!
๐ Family Action Verdict
The top choice in Adelaide for families with neurodivergent children or kids with sensory processing needs. The staff deep understanding of autism removes the anxiety parents carry into mainstream play centres. Neurotypical children thrive here too. NDIS funding accepted. Best for ages 2 and up โ toddlers with additional needs are well catered for.

โIncredible venue , certainly ticks all the boxes for the sensory and stimming needs. My daughter first went here with the school and her happiness regulation and excitement when she came home was just beautiful, you could tell she had the best time *also teacher feedback did vouch her experiences were 10/10*** We booked this venue for my son's birthday party recently and we couldn't have been pleased, over joyed actually, very intimate setting so much space for the kids , something for everyone to do. The party room packed with everything you need; We will be back again ๐โ

โGreat space, the set up is fantastic. So many things for the kids to do and interact with, including a calming space. We came from the Noarlunga area and it was definitely worth it. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We were able to get grip socks there, even for the adults. We had such a wonderful time at We Rock The Spectrum Thank youโ

โWhat a amazing place! So glad we drove the hour down. Our 3 year old who's autistic had a wonderful time, and didn't feel overwhelmed. We stayed for two hours and had loads of fun. Highly recommend bringing your kiddos here ๐โ

Overview
WRTS Adelaide is built around a guiding principle displayed on the wall: "A place where you never have to say sorry." Equipment includes zip lines, trampolines, swings, spinning apparatus, and sensory stations alongside a dedicated quiet calming room for decompression. Staff engage actively with children on the floor rather than supervising from a distance. Birthday party hire gives exclusive use of the venue. Grip socks available on-site for kids and adults.
