📍 Sefton Park, SA
Five-level Playground World, 25 interactive rock climbing walls, dedicated Baby World for under-2s, and Mr Spriggins Café serving specialty coffee and chef-made meals. Staff consistently praised for engaging directly with children.
Just had my daughter's 5th birthday in the playground area. She had the best time and certainly wore herself out. The package was great and the food platters were impressive. Our host Zahli was amazing. She kept us informed of everything, was easy to approach and lovely to the kids and parents. Thank you Zahli. Only downside was how busy it was but given it was a Sunday and raining outside this was understandable. Plus the almost 20 young kids at the party all had a blast with no incidents so let's call it organised chaos :)
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for active kids aged 2–12 who want serious climbing alongside soft play. Staff engage with children rather than just supervise. Cafe quality makes it viable for a full-day visit. Call ahead on weekdays to confirm all climbing zones are operational before driving across the city.

“Really fun place for kids! Compared to other play centres, this one has staff that genuinely look engaged and happy to be around the children. Loads of soft play areas with different themes, and the climbing area is excellent. The food and drink selection was the best I've seen at a play place. Will definitely be back.”

“The customer service was excellent, it was clean & a really nice environment. Great menu too. The climbing was a great experience for my grandaughter & the play area was fun. Clear instructions where given to the children. Signage was very good too. Overall a great place to spend a day having fun & exercise.”

“We recently visited Funtopia and overall had a fun experience. It’s a great place for kids — very energetic and well set up for play. The café also surprised us in a good way. The food was quite good, and the portion sizes were generous, which isn’t always the case at places like this. However, we were quite disappointed that the climbing centre was closed, especially since that was the main reason for our visit. Unfortunately, we were only informed about the closure about three hours before arriving, which didn’t leave us much time to change plans. It would’ve been better to know further in advance, as the climbing area was something we were really looking forward to. Despite that, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we still made the most of our time there. We’ll likely visit again — but next time, we’ll definitely call ahead to double-check what's open.”
