1 / 2Wyreena Playspace
📍 Croydon, VIC
Wyreena Playspace features quality equipment for ages 1–12, natural timber sculptures, shade areas, picnic tables, pram-accessible paths, on-site cafe, and free parking next to the Croydon arts centre.
This is a great small park, off the street. There is parking by the arts centre. Kids of all ages can enjoy this park. There are hidden things for the kids to find (will need to list them for you next time we are there). Its an open area (no kid fence) so watch they don't wonder off.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 1–12 who want a well-designed community playspace with cafe access. The natural elements and variety of equipment sustain engagement across different ages simultaneously. There is no perimeter fencing, so stay close to toddlers. The cafe closes on Sundays — bring snacks if visiting then.

“We went for a 60th wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was lovely. The finger food was Fantastic. Loved the pumpkin Arancini balls and Rosti salmon canapes were delish, so was the rest of the canapes and desserts. But they were good. Only thing the food was taken away far to quickly or not even offered to the hostess to take home. Even though they paid a bit of money. If I knew I would of taken some of those balls. It was a wet day but the kids still had fun. I would recommend the place for weekend events.”
