1 / 3Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre
π Templestowe Lower, VIC
Aquarena in Templestowe Lower features heated indoor and outdoor pools, waterslides, a toddler splash park, spa, steam room, and a dedicated learn-to-swim pool.
We had a great day here as a family. Only $6 per person for unlimited waterslides, and we didnβt have to line up for long. Thereβs such a good variety of indoor and outdoor pools, so it really caters for all ages. The spa and sauna were a great bonus, and the splash park was perfect for the toddlers. Clean facilities, well organised and amazing value for money. Highly recommend for families and weβll definitely be back.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers through to primary-school-aged children who want a mix of slides, splash zones, and structured lessons at strong value. The waterslide entry delivers broad access for a low per-person fee.

βI train here since 3 month. The gym is packed and tidy clean every single time Iβm there. Staff are friendly and helpful and customers are always nice and no fussy people. The pool area is good and water is clean. I just hope they put some sun tanning chairs for lazy people like me :) the pool is undergoing renovation so it should be good. I like it here and happy to go back to exercising after years.β

βMy child has been taking swimming lessons here for about six months now. During that time, weβve experienced several instructors, including makeup classes, and among them, Tanin has been the best by far π Some other instructors, however, seem to simply watch the children rather than actively teaching, and appear to lack passion for instruction β something to be mindful of. Overall, the facilities are fairly satisfactory, but the cleanliness is consistently a bit disappointing.β

βSo disappointed with one of the receptionists who is a young man, I was standing at the reception between 10:31-35, my kids were excited to get Splash and Win stamp, but the young man said he doesnβt know where the stamp is then no response and didnβt ask the other staff either, my kids looked at the man but no further action or words, I was extremely disappointed with the manβs attitude, I said thatβs ridiculous, cos is the last stamp on the brochure, then the man went to find it reluctantly, got the stamp but the man looked like we were making trouble on him, no any explanation. I truly understand that the receptionist changes over time, but every time I went Aquarena with my kids were happy, except today! Even though some new staff donβt know how to figure out, they want to learn or ask the other staff who knows, like last time I wanted to pay for swimming lessons, the receptionist didnβt know how to check it out, she was learning with good attitude, but todayβs experience was bad, activity organised by Aquarena itself but one of the staff donβt know, donβt take the duty to figure it out and put on a band face!β
