Archie Brothers Entertainment Quarter
π Sydney, NSW
Archie Brothers at Moore Park is a large-scale entertainment venue with arcade games, bowling lanes, karaoke rooms, and a vibrant carnival atmosphere. Best suited to older children, teens, and group events.
We actually ended up at Archie Brothers by accidentβ¦ the place we originally booked decided to close early (rude), so we panic-Googled and landed here instead. And honestly? Unreal place. From the second we walked in, it was a full vibe. Not just βarcade lights and loud musicβ vibe, Iβm talking bartenders carrying the entire atmosphere on their backs vibe. Both legends behind the bar had names starting with J (James? Jack? Jason?) and whatever their actual names are, they deserve a raise. We only planned on having a quick drink while figuring out Plan Bβ¦ but we somehow stayed for cocktails, then games, then bowling, then more drinks, then βokay one more round,β then suddenly it was late and we were emotionally invested in winning arcade tickets. The energy behind the bar was elite. They werenβt just pouring drinks, they were hosting the night. Hyping us up, getting involved in the banter, making recommendations, turning a βbackup optionβ into the main event. 10/10 accidental night out. Would absolutely get stood up by another venue again just to end up here.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and teens who enjoy high-energy, multi-activity entertainment. The combination of arcade, bowling, and karaoke under one roof keeps mixed-age groups engaged. Younger children may find the noise and adult atmosphere overwhelming.

βB Lucky and Sons arcade was on a whole other level. I met the absolute nicest man I have ever met. He gave me 650 free tickets and was so kind and joyful. Highly recommend!!!β

βThe place is easy to find, massive carpark nearby. Bouncer outside for IDs, lots of cool decor and activities. We only came for drinks so that all im judging. All four of us sat infront of the bar and ordered using the QR codes. After about 15 mintues we saw the bartender starting to close the bar so I asked him if we were getting our drinks because we had already paid. He apologised profusely and told us to go to the upstairs bar because he was closing the one he was at. He then showed us the way up and made our drinks. Drinks themselves tasted nice but didnt look anything like the picture or the cup was different. Overall not bad, would probably go back and give them another go.β

βArchie Brothers Entertainment Quarter is a fun venue in theory, but my visit revealed several frustrating operational issues. The bowling lanes were surprisingly slippery. There is a sign on the floor warning of a slip hazard, yet I have bowled at countless other venues and never encountered anything like this. It felt unsafe and should be addressed. We ordered drinks via the QR code on our table and waited around 40 minutes for them to arrive. Our food had come and gone, and bowling was almost over by the time the drinks turned up. I had to approach the counter three times, only to be told that in-person orders took priority, with no apology or explanation. The QR system is meant to be convenient, but in practice it was a waste of time. The same problem arose during karaoke. Our QR order never appeared. When we went to the bar, the staff had no record of it. On top of that, two microphones did not work, the music volume was barely audible, and staff did not check the room with us to ensure everything was set up correctly. I understand Sydneyβs entertainment scene is challenging right now, but these are basic operational issues that could be easily fixed. Delays, poor communication, and malfunctioning equipment not only frustrate guests but almost certainly cost the venue revenue. With proper attention to these details, this could be a genuinely enjoyable experience.β
