1 / 3Area 51 Garden City
π Upper Mount Gravatt, QLD
Indoor space-themed play centre at Garden City with trampolines, obstacle courses, climbing walls, and multi-storey soft play for children up to 12. Age-zoned areas separate toddlers from older kids.
We had such a great time at Area 51 Garden City! The place is super clean and well looked after β my kids played for hours and even their white clothes stayed spotless! Each area is really well managed. The staff in the baby zone are wonderful β they kindly guide the older kids back to the right area, which makes all the mums of little ones feel so much more relaxed. The food was also surprisingly good β fresh, tidy and very clean. The kids had an absolute blast, and weβll definitely be back again. Highly recommend!
π Family Action Verdict
Children aged 6β12 get the most from the obstacle courses, trampolines, and upper-level structures. The toddler area is a weaker offering β sparse toys, broken musical equipment, and less variety than comparable venues. Staff in the baby zone are praised for keeping older kids out and making parents of toddlers feel secure.

βAmazing fun, great location, reasonable price and friendly staff. Visiting during the school holidays and my 6yr's first visit, he had the best time playing on the obstacle course, trampolines and slides. Meg served us from the front counter and was so friendly and knowledgeable. She even went above and beyond to help us when my son had an accident. Will definitely be visiting again. 5 stars!β

βThis is a small honey trap designed for children. I have a similar setup near my home, but I was curious to see what this particular one had to offer. Itβs quite impressive for an indoor mall space, providing a fun and engaging environment for kids to play and explore. These kinds of attractions are great for keeping children entertained while parents shop or wait. The design is colorful and inviting, making it an appealing spot for young visitors. I appreciate how well-thought-out the space is, with safety features and engaging activities to keep kids occupied. Overall, itβs a lovely addition to the mall, offering a safe and enjoyable experience for kids and their families. Itβs definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a fun, family-friendly activity while shopping or spending time in the area.β

βThe place is fun for the older kids but the toddler area is quite boring, not much to do in there like other places. If you have younger children it's probably best to take them to chipmunks. The place looks clean from afar but when you look closely there's food marks all over the equipment. The toys in the toddler section to make music were broken off aswell. Definitely needs a regular monthly deep clean and proper maintenance. Also to add they advertise online "buy 2 hours and play for 3 hours during weekdays" yet it's not implemented at all, if holidays don't count then put that in the advertisement. Probably won't be back as a little disappointing compared to their competitors.β
