Had such a beautiful experience with Bellarine Railway in Queenscliff. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping back in time. The heritage trains are lovingly maintained and full of character β you can really see the passion behind this place. The volunteers and staff were incredibly warm and knowledgeable, happy to share stories about the railwayβs history. The ride itself was relaxing and scenic, with charming coastal views along the way. Itβs such a unique experience, especially if you appreciate vintage trains or want something different to do with family. Everything was well organised, affordable, and genuinely enjoyable. A must-do if youβre visiting Queenscliff β weβll definitely be back!

βFirst time coming here during peak holidays and was happy with the amount of car parks available for 10 min before departure. Which is located close to station . The seats opposite the platform will have the view of the lake with the swans . But if you donβt get those seats when the train stops at the end of the line and everyone gets off to watch the train detach and reattach it self , just swap views . Best to book tickets so you donβt come all the way and itβs booked . The train windows to open hold top & bottom and lift and push and it should go downβ

βThe Bellarine Railwayβs Polar Express was pure Christmas magic. Itβs one of my all-time favourite holiday movies, and seeing it come to life on a real steam engine, rolling past beautiful countryside, was everything I hoped for and more. No kids in tow β just a grown adult who is still absolutely a kid at heart β and I loved every second. Festive vibes, gorgeous views, and enough holiday spirit to power Santaβs sleigh. Highly recommend for anyone who still believes in a little Christmas wonder. ππβ

βIf you are lucky enough to be in Queenscliff when the train is running make sure you jump on board. Its quite reasonably priced and the scenery is lovely. The old vintage train is delightful and we really enjoyed watching the train get connected at each point to change directions.β
