1 / 3Bendigo Art Gallery
π Bendigo, VIC
One of Australia's largest regional galleries with an extensive 19th-century European and Australian art collection plus blockbuster international exhibitions.
The iconic art gallery of Bendigo was magnificent just by itself with every art and painting in it. Not sure why has it been closed for renovations when itβs truly perfect. Silly for the council to decide and alter the building, stoping entry for tourist attractions. Feels this renovation an unnecessary ordeal.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and teens who appreciate art and cultural storytelling. The blockbuster international exhibitions are a genuine draw from across Victoria β check the current schedule to align your visit with a major show.

βThe Bendigo Art Gallery is a must if you are visiting Bendigo. I came from Melbourne to see the Frida Kahlo exhibition and it was incredible. The exhibition was well managed and beautifully curated. The general exhibitions and outside surrounds are also beautiful. Highly recommend!β
