1 / 3Braithwaite Park
π Mount Hawthorn, WA
Fully fenced four-zone park in Mount Hawthorn with a nature-inspired adventure area featuring two flying foxes and dirt-and-water play, plus a separate dedicated toddler playground. Free BBQs, clean toilets, and open grassed areas on-site.
Beautiful fully fenced and shady playground, suitable for all ages really with a nature scape inspired side and a toddler sized one separated by the community centre (which boast large, clean, well stocked toilets!). The only downside is parking is a bit restricted and since itβs such a nice park itβs certainly busier in that morning tea time but otherwise a lovely place to catch up with friends!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for mixed-age families where toddlers and school-age children need genuinely separate spaces. The full fencing with gates lets parents supervise younger children without restricting older ones on the flying foxes. The BBQ facilities and clean toilets make it viable for a multi-hour visit or a birthday party without needing to leave the site.

βFantastic playground for children of all ages. The toddler playground is new and a great addition to the park. It is all fenced in, with BBQs, toilets, waterplay, flying foxes. A great place to have a party. There is a cafe across the road to get coffee.β

βThe playground has been created with a smaller space for younger kids, and the Adventure area with 2 ziplines for older kids. The area is very open but also has shady areas and picnic tables, or you can bring your own gazebos for private parties. The park is fully fenced & gates as well.β

Overview
Braithwaite Park is fully fenced with self-closing gates and divided into two distinct play zones: an adventure area with two flying foxes, dirt-and-water play elements, and climbing structures, and a separate toddler playground with age-scaled equipment. The community centre next door houses large, clean, well-stocked toilets. BBQ facilities, picnic tables, shaded and open grassed areas, and a cafe directly across the road complete the offering.
