📍 Bronte, NSW
Thirty-metre ocean rock pool built into the rocks at Bronte Beach. Waves crash over the sides during sets. Free entry, change rooms, and good parking nearby. Located on the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk. Rated 4.8 from 563 reviews.
One of the best places to swim in Sydney. If you have kids this is the right place for you. Can you believe that there is a high chance that you can find a parking nearby! It seems that everything is next each other, Whether you want to get a tan on the golden beach sands ⛱️ or to swim in the rock pool, you have got all of the options. Enjoy. If you liked this review, give it a thumbs up. Medo Hamdani BizMapper
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with confident swimmers who enjoy a natural, less-managed ocean pool experience. The waves crashing over the sides are exciting for older kids and adults. Depth at 150–180cm makes it unsuitable for non-swimmers without supervision. Sunrise sessions are especially recommended — fewer people and strong light over the water.

“Passed by the Bronte Baths on the Bondi to Coogee walking path and it was very cool to see people enjoying the natural baths!! I liked that it was not crowded and free unlike the more popular Icebergs in Bondi! It looked very clean and taken care of for being a public space.”

“Loved everything about this place. 6am sunrise swim was amazing. Beautiful stunning location. Enjoyed the waves crashing up the sides, watching the surfers, the water was fresh and clean. I’d go here everyday if I lived nearby. Highly recommend!”

Overview
Bronte Baths is a 30-metre rock pool cut into the ocean cliffs at Bronte Beach. Depth runs 150–180cm, and waves break over the walls during swells, making it more dynamic than a standard pool. Change rooms are on site. Free entry. Parking is available nearby — easier to find than at Bondi. Positioned on the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, it pairs well with the broader walkway as part of a longer outing.
