1 / 3Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve Playground
π Carrum Downs, VIC
Modern split-level playground in Carrum Downs with water play, sandpit, flying fox, trampolines, tall slides, and climbing structures. BBQ facilities and public toilets on-site. Not pram-accessible due to split levels and stairs.
I recently visited the Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve Playground with my son and we had an amazing time. The playground is simply beautiful, with a sunny yellow color theme that adds a cheerful touch to the surroundings. My son had a blast trying out the different play equipment, and I was impressed by the innovative and unique features of the playground. It was clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into designing this space for children to enjoy. I highly recommend the Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve Playground for families with young children. It's a great place to spend a sunny afternoon and make some fun memories.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for confident climbers aged 4 and up. The water play and sandpit combination keeps kids engaged for well over an hour on warm days. Families with prams or toddlers not and steady on stairs will find the layout restrictive. The football club carpark is the most convenient entry point.

βGreat playground. Plenty of parking. Slides, sand pit, water play area, swings, flying fox, trampolines and plenty of climbing areas. Not alot for younger kids unless they are confident with heights. BBQs, public toilets and picnic tables. Not easy to get around with a pram though given the split level play areas where they only have stairs available.β

βGreat new play space in Carrum Downs. A few different areas for play including a general play ground with a tall slide, a sand based area with some water play, a BBQ, flying Fox and a steepish slide. Car park located nearer to the footy club but itβs an easy walk.β

βMy boys easily spent an hour just in the sand pit after enjoying the water play, trampoline, climbing equipment and slide. Everything in good working order, and bbq facilities available tooβ

Overview
The playground spans two levels connected by stairs only, incorporating a water play zone, sandpit, tall slide, flying fox, trampolines, and climbing structures. BBQ and picnic tables are on-site, alongside public toilets. Park near the football club for the easiest walk to the playground. The height-focused design and split levels make it challenging for toddlers and inaccessible for prams.
