This indoor play centre ticks so many boxes. It’s a great day out for kids of all ages, the fun options are endless. The entrance fee is very reasonable for the huge floor space of slides, climbing structures, rock climbing, bumper cars and much more. The food options won’t disappoint, believe me when I say it’s next level options for a kids den! Bring socks or buy at entry, they are a must. The toddlers area is also a bonus for the young kiddos. To be honest, the stand out lady who has been on duty every visit is actually one of the managers Aleisha. She would have to be the hardest worker I’ve seen, she rushes food to your table, cleans, works the birthday parties and fills your drink bottle with a delightful smile. It’s clean and the bathrooms are equipped for baby change. Parking is easy and free out the front. Fun guaranteed here!

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with kids spanning toddler to primary school age who want a full half-day out under one roof. The scale sets it apart from standard soft-play centres β€” the climbing walls alone justify the trip. Parents rate the food quality well above typical play centre standards.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Socks are mandatory β€” bring your own or budget to buy Funtopia branded ones at the door
⏰Go early to avoid the midday crowd surge, especially beneficial for toddlers
🎟️Mr Spriggins restaurant serves a full menu; the chicken parma is specifically called out by multiple reviewers
πŸš—Free parking is out front

β€œFuntopia Carrum Downs is absolutely amazing! We had such a fun time with the kids – there's something for everyone. The climbing walls are super colourful and exciting, and the playground is huge with lots of creative play areas. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure everything felt safe and fun. We also loved the cafΓ© – it had yummy food and great coffee for the parents. The place was very clean and well-organized. It’s definitely one of the best indoor play centres we've been to. We can’t wait to come back!”

β€œGot there early and the place was ideal for our 3 year old who can get a bit intimidated when bigger kids are fanging around the playground. The place is much bigger than any of the other play centres in the area and it's frankly incredible! Food is a bit pricey but the Parma was quality and a big serve. The place was frantic when we left just before 1pm, recommend spending a morning there rather than a midday or afternoon.”

β€œQuite a large soft play area, with quite a few different sections suitable to different age groups and activity levels. Expansive compared to many other soft play areas at a similar price. Requirement for β€˜Funtopia Socks’ to be purchased, which adds more to the entry price. Food was expensive and limited healthy options. Staff were friendly and helpful, although quite busy and lots of dirty plates on tables (somewhat understandable), but otherwise a good way to spend a few hours with the kids.”
