Churchill Island
π VIC
Churchill Island is a working heritage farm accessible by bridge from Phillip Island. Families can watch cow milking, sheep shearing, and working dog shows, plus hand-feed animals and explore coastal scenery.
What a pleasant surprise! Got to snap some amazing shots of the highland cows, and the lambs at the nursery were unbelievably adorable. Had a lovely stroll through the place, worth every minute!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families visiting Phillip Island who want hands-on farm interaction rather than just viewing. The scheduled animal shows reward visitors who time their arrival well β arrive before the morning shows begin to catch the full program.

βThe experience was fun, had a good time watching a sheep shearing and hammer the dog guiding the sheepπ₯°. The view was amazing as well you can really enjoy it with your kids, partner or even with your family. The cafe was a little pricey on the side. My partner got a vanilla milkshake but so disappointed, we canβt even taste the vanilla flavour nothing look alike the one in the picture they posted. It looks like they just put a milk and blended it. All we can taste is the bubbles from the milkshake. The farm itself was nice but the cafe was not.β

βRated 4 out of 5 stars Churchill Island offers a very nice view and friendly staff. The highland cattle are adorable and add to the charm of the place. There are plenty of games to enjoy while waiting for the shows. During our visit, we played chess and watched the cow milking demonstration, which was quite interesting. They also have a sheep shearing show, but our group wasnβt interested in that, so we decided to skip it and head home.β

βAwesome little island. The drive up is really scenic and fun, as a driver the roadis cool and abit different which is nice. They have a lot of activities at the island but I'd recommend going prior for 10:30am as I feel that's when the cooler Activites and shows are on. Lots of animals to look at and maybe if you're lucky pet. Very nice little cafe aswell.β
