Phillip Island Chocolate Factory
π Newhaven, VIC
Interactive chocolate factory attraction in Newhaven with guided chocolate-making exhibits, tasting samples, old-fashioned arcade games (tokens included with tour), and an on-site bistro where orders are delivered by robot. Suits all ages.
This was a fantastic experience and deserves 5 star. It was great value for money. You MUST stop here especially if you have kids. We had such fun, spent around 1hr-1.5hrs even longer when you stop for a nice coffee in the cafe. Included in our tour ticket was a sample as we first went in, plus 10 tokens for the fun, old fashioned arcade games (where you can win more chocolate for prizes), then we went through the factory and tasted some more. Then we got to create our own chocolate swirl and eat it! At the end there is this really cool chocolate bar making machine which was so fun and only $3 to create your own bar. This could not be better value for money. The chocolate is delicious. There was lots to see and was very educational. The reviews about the queues or too busy was because it was a holiday weekend! Please go and support this family in business. They deserve 5 stars and we had an amazing experience, very memorable and at a very affordable price.
π Family Action Verdict
A genuine all-ages stop on a Phillip Island itinerary. Young children are captivated by the hands-on exhibits and the robot food delivery; older kids and adults enjoy the chocolate range and creation experiences. Budget 60β90 minutes for the full experience including the bistro. Chocolate product pricing runs at the premium end.

βWorth a visit. Large variety of chocolates availanle although I thought a bit pricey. Bistro has a good selection o choose from and the hot drinking chocolate is the best. Friendly staff and your order is delivered by a robot. Plenty of table seating and the premises are spotlessly clean, as are the toilers. Conviniently located on the main road on Phillip Island.β

βI recently visited Pannyβs Chocolate Factory in Phillip Island, and overall it was a really enjoyable and memorable experience. From the moment you step inside, the place feels fun and energetic, with colourful displays, interactive attractions, and the delicious smell of chocolate everywhere. Itβs easy to see why itβs such a popular stop for families and visitors of all ages. I did visit on a very busy weekend, and that definitely had an impact on the experience. The crowds made some areas feel a bit rushed, and unfortunately there wasnβt much chocolate left in certain sections by the time I arrived. While this was slightly disappointing, it was understandable given how popular the factory was that day. Even so, there was still plenty to enjoy. The interactive exhibits were entertaining and engaging, and it was interesting to learn more about chocolate in a fun, hands-on way. The overall atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and there was always something to look at or do. The staff were friendly and helpful despite how busy it was, which added to the positive experience. Overall, Pannyβs Chocolate Factory is a great attraction and well worth visiting. Iβd happily go again β ideally on a quieter day to enjoy it even more!β

βSpotted the Chocolate Factory & couldn't pass it by. We didn't do the tour because there was no time. But we did go in to see what was on offer. There was a good selection of chocolate products & we chose several items. Highly recommend the Macadamia nuts in milk chocolate. The store was well set out, the shelves clearly marked with both product & price, & easy to move about in. Access is suitable for all levels of mobility. A friendly lass served us promptly. We didn't need to provide our own bag, as the products were placed in a brown paper carry bag, which was convenient. The chocolate products were a bit expensive, but delicious. A great treat. The Factory has its own large, free parking lot. Worth a visit.β

Overview
Phillip Island Chocolate Factory combines interactive chocolate exhibits with hands-on creation experiences and generous tastings. Tour tickets include samples on entry plus arcade game tokens. The bistro serves chocolate-themed drinks and a full food menu β hot drinking chocolate is a standout. Orders are delivered by a robotic server. The venue is spotlessly maintained and conveniently located on the main road into Phillip Island.
