Event Cinemas - Robina

“Event Cinemas Robina is, without exaggeration, one of the best cinema experiences on the Gold Coast. I’ve been to both Robina and Event Cinemas Pacific Fair, and honestly, they don’t even feel like the same company — that’s how big the difference is. Robina is spotless. Clean floors, clean seats, comfortable seating, bigger and better screens, and a genuinely pleasant atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The staff are friendly, professional, and actually seem to care about the experience they’re providing. Everything feels well run, modern, and maintained to a high standard. Now compare that to Pacific Fair, which is the complete opposite. I’ve been there multiple times, and every visit has been awful. Dirty floors, dirty seats, uncomfortable seating, poor upkeep, and staff who don’t come across as particularly helpful or welcoming. The whole place feels neglected and unpleasant — to the point where it genuinely ruins the movie experience. What makes it even more frustrating is that this is the same cinema brand, just a different location. There is absolutely no excuse for the massive drop in quality at Pacific Fair when Robina proves how good Event Cinemas can be when it’s run properly. If you’re choosing between the two: go to Robina, every single time. It’s cleaner, more comfortable, better staffed, and overall a million times better. Event Cinemas Robina sets the standard — Pacific Fair doesn’t even come close.”

“I went into Gold Class on 30/12/25 during the morning and it was such a lovely and pleasant experience! The three staff members were all so kind and helpful (One young man and two young ladies) The girl with the brown hair and served me, I think her name was Julie, and she had such amazing customer service and was very patient with me trying to decide what I wanted, she made me feel so welcomed! I don't get many free days to go out without my kids and see a movie and this experience was wonderful - I will definitely be coming back to Gold Class Robina!”

“We went to event cinemas Robina in gold class on Saturday 21st of February. We needed help to set up our cinebuzz membership, we were trying to sign up but weren’t able to. We were helped by Alyssa who was absolutely fantastic and who could not have helped us more, she was an absolute delight to deal with and made our experience so much better. “First visit to Gold Class Event Robina. Nice moody sophisticated lounge with great water views. Cinema 1 was quiet during the day & playing my groove ❤️ Toilets are bright & clean. My go-to Watermelon Margarita + Vietnamese spring rolls didn’t disappoint 😃”
