George Pentland Botanic Gardens
đ Frankston, VIC
Well-maintained public gardens in central Frankston with native Australian plantings, a children's playground, fountain lake, BBQ and picnic areas, shaded paths, and public toilets. Free entry and pram-accessible throughout.
Spent most of our time at the eastern end at the kids playground & fountain lake. Good sized playground & beautiful, well maintained foliage & green spaces. BBQ area & picnic tables looked clean. Plenty of shade created by the vegetation canopy, as well as shade structures. Public toilets also abutting the playground. Certainly a suitable space for a young one's birthday party. Fountain was lovely with plenty of wildlife about (saw rabbits, ducks/ducklings & plenty of birds).
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting a low-key outdoor outing in Frankston's south-east that pairs well with shopping or a cafe stop nearby. The playground and BBQ area at the eastern end suit families with children under 10. Dog walkers, joggers, and morning walkers share the paths, keeping the atmosphere active.

âMe and my dad favorite park!! Everything is well-organized, from the plants, trash cans, restrooms, and even the dining and BBQ areas. You can exercise, have a picnic, or take a morning walk with your dog here. It's so much fun! Highly Recommend!â
