Ballam Park Reserve (East) Playground
đ Frankston, VIC
Ballam Park Reserve East Playground in Frankston is designed for younger children, with water jet play and small fairy sculptures set in well-maintained surrounding gardens. Part of the larger Ballam Park reserve with grassy picnic areas.
Great park, well kept and family friendly.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and preschoolers who want a manageable outdoor play session with water play in warm weather. The fairy sculptures and water jets are calibrated for smaller children rather than big-kid thrill-seekers.

âThe park is amazing but no one follows the no dogs rule and there are always dogs at the water park. Dogs arnt allowed within 10m yet they are right there in it. It's never just 1 or 2 either, i was here last week and there were 6 dogs while toddlers played close by. My toddler is terrified of dogs but pet owners arnt considerate at this park with dogs roaming off lead.â

Overview
The east playground at Ballam Park is the smaller of the two Ballam Park playgrounds, distinguished by its water jet play area and decorative fairy sculptures. Surrounding gardens are described as very pleasant, and the overall design is well thought out. The water jets are the main draw on warm days â reviewers recommend it for toddlers and younger children specifically. Dogs are prohibited within 10m of the water area as the rule is inconsistently enforced.
