We celebrated my child's birthday at Gumbuya World and it was absolutely fantastic! Fairly priced, and the best part - you get to stay all day, not just an hour or two like other venues. One parent goes free with each child, so all the adults got to enjoy the rides too! The park is spacious, clean, and never felt crowded. Our party at the Outback CafΓ© was beautiful and well-organised, with heaps of great food for the kids. The standout for me was their care with allergies. My son has dairy anaphylaxis, and they went above and beyond: a separate cooker for his food, his cake stored safely, and staff who genuinely cared. It’s so rare for a big venue to get this right, I was blown away. They were also super flexible when a few kids were sick and happily let siblings take their places. My child loved their little party showbag, and every parent said it was the best party of the year. Highly recommend Gumbuya World for birthdays - truly exceptional! πŸŽ‰πŸ’•

Best for families with children across a wide age range wanting a full day of rides, water activities, and wildlife encounters in one venue. Birthday groups benefit from the all-day access model and the one-adult-free policy.

β€œGumbuya World is a fantastic day out for families and thrill-seekers alike. The park is well laid out with a great mix of attractions, from exciting water slides and rides to animal encounters and scenic areas to relax. The water park is a highlight, especially on warm days, with plenty of options for both kids and adults. The wildlife section is well maintained and offers a nice opportunity to see native animals up close, which adds an educational element to the visit. Staff throughout the park are friendly and helpful, and safety is clearly a priority. Food options are decent, though a bit on the pricey side, which is fairly standard for theme parks. Overall, Gumbuya World offers good value for a full day of fun, especially for families. With a bit of planning to avoid peak times, it’s an enjoyable and memorable experience that’s worth visiting at least once.”

β€œYes, it’s on the dearer side, but you absolutely get what you pay for!! . There are heaps of rides for both young kids and older thrill-seekers, including big roller coasters, plus a huge water park to cool off in. On top of that, the animal experiences are a real highlight - seeing koalas, kangaroos and more all in one place makes it feel like multiple attractions in one. A full-day family adventure that keeps everyone happy. Highly recommend as one of Melbournes best attractions.”

β€œI was pretty impressed that the toilets were clean and with out a line up when the carpark was full. The food was cold, however there was lots there and great options. They have done a great job with this place. I was disappointed that I had blown up my daughter's water ring and then she wasn't allowed to use it. It would also be good if there were more affordable rashies. All in all it was great and we'll be back πŸ™‚β€
