Spacious playground for kids of all ages. Gated on the road side but also big enough to follow your kids around and inside the playground if you want to keep an eye on them. There's a water feature as well (supposedly it's not meant to be on between May-October but it was on during a Saturday in May) so kids could potentially end up with wet clothes. Huge circle footpath kids can ride their bikes/scooters around on and plenty of shade on the playground and around for parents to sit with picnic blankets. Not many parks I think but we parked at a friend's place nearby and walked over.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 2 through to 10 who want a full outdoor session combining active play, water features, and wheeled transport. Pack a change of clothes and towel for the water play regardless of the season — the features run year-round. Families with bikes and scooters get additional value from the looping paths.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Pack a full change of clothes and towel — water features run year-round, including outside the official season
Bring bikes or scooters to use the looping paths around the playground
🎟️Picnic tables and drinking bubblers are on site — no need to pack water
🚗Nearby Portside Wharf adds a food option if you want to extend the outing

Fantastic park. Great open space, very well shaded, lots of picnic tables of open grass spaces for a picnic & hours of entertainment for kids aged 2+. Our toddler, who had just turned 2 a few months ago, still thoroughly enjoyed her time! So yes, still lots of fun for younger kids with adult supervision at all times of course. Bathrooms within close proximity & a small BBQ area also. There is also a basketball court and small outdoor gym area; this place really is one of the best in Brisbane!

Amazing! Lots of shade, water play available, lots of paths for scooters or skateboards, lots of climbing things, a couple of big slides. There are picnic tables available, a drinking bubbler, toilets, fences and trees. This is a park worth going to for both older kids and young toddlers.
