Every Friday evening from about 5pm til 8 or 8:30pm there are food vans approximately minimum of 5 (i think lol)but usually there's bout 8 or 9 every friday all year round ( weather permitting) It's great either solo or bring the family or friends. It's a great relaxing Friday evening after work. No cleaning or preparing any meal that nigh. Take night off put feet up and enjoy the array of choices. Eat and relax while kids play on play in the equipment ie: slides, swings, a huge log swing, tunnels and much more there's even some ooen space where u can go kick ball or play catch oe even a game of chase choices are endless all the while u can be chilling listening to the music they play . Sorry for the huge review. It's a great park you won't be disappointed .

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 4 and over who can manage the equipment confidently. The wetlands setting with footbridges and birdlife adds natural interest beyond the playground. Friday evenings work well for a relaxed after-work outing.

“This is a wetlands park joining/part of the Jungle park. In spring (end of winter) this area is abundant with flowers, trees are green, lots of birds here, lots of shade, bridges over the man made water feature streams and part wetlands. Toilets are at the end of the park. Overall a very nice place within a new surburb built.”

“Suitable for children over 4 years, not too crowded here and it's a shaded area as well which is perfect when the weather is hot”

“New favourite place to go early in the morning on the weekend. Otherwise you'll need to find parking farther away. Shaded picnic areas are next to the BBQ pits. Portable toilets not too far away. White tipped pipes spray mist for a minute every hour or so. Sidewalks around the area provide inspiration to ride a bike or scooter.”

Overview

Jungle Park Whiteman Edge sits within a wetlands reserve featuring varied play equipment under established tree canopy. The Friday evening food truck event draws up to eight or nine vendors weekly. Mist sprayers activate periodically, concrete paths loop the wetlands, and shaded BBQ and picnic areas are spread across the reserve. Toilets are located at the far end of the park.
