1 / 3Whiteman Park
π Whiteman, WA
Extensive bushland reserve with multiple playgrounds including Pia Place All Abilities Playspace, heritage tram rides, wildlife areas, and walking trails. Free entry with individual paid attractions.
Awesome place to let kids play and explore! We had such a fun family day at Whiteman Park! There are heaps of activities for kids of all ages. The playgrounds are brilliant β especially Piaβs Place All Abilities Playspace, which is huge, adventurous and great for all abilities with climbing towers, slides, sand play and even a flying fox. The most enjoyable moment was booking a pedal play β the kids absolutely loved riding around, laughing and competing with each other. It was a great way for them to stay active and have fun together. The mini water playground is perfect on a hot day, and there are also loads of other kid-friendly things to do like train rides, wildlife encounters, picnic spots and nature trails, so you can easily spend a full day here. Great facilities, lots of open space, and very family-friendly. Highly recommend for families with kids!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children of all ages who want a full-day outing across multiple activity types. The all-abilities playground is a genuine standout β accessible and adventurous for a wide range of kids. Plan the day around paid attractions that suit your group ages, and leave time for the wildlife area. Car access is essential.

βExcellent complex. I like the concept of free entry and paying for the different attractions that interest you. Great for families and there were a few birthday parties happening. Everyone appeared to be having fun. There is even a swimming pool. I ran out of time to see the wildlife but I enjoyed the museums. They even have reduced prices for seniors like me. π Definitely recommend. Go early and enjoy everything that the park has to offer.β

βBeautifil space. Lovely for family outings, picnic or BBQ. Really need a car to get there as the only public transport was train but it didn't go into the Village. Used the Tram, but missed the return trip which took a hour to walk through bush.β
