1 / 3Lincoln Square South Playground
π Carlton, VIC
Two tree-top cubbies connected by rope net bridges, accessed via rope ladders and a vertical tunnel climb. Scattered beneath heritage Moreton Bay Figs with log balance areas, birds nest swing, musical poles, and a large slide.
Lovely playground with natural shade , a 9 year old and a 3 year old had a great time here, and even the adults loved it. Lots of climbing. Most of the equipments are made out of wood and were surrounded by these huge beautiful trees. Public toilet nearby and plenty of street parking available.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for kids aged 5+ who want real climbing challenges β rope ladders, net bridges, and vertical tunnels demand effort and reward confidence. Toddlers have simpler ground-level options. The deep tree canopy keeps it cool on hot days.

βThis is my kids βfavourite playground in the world.β Surrounded by trees with a great Japanese ice cream shop nearby, toilet facilities could be better, but itβs a playground that helps kids build their confidence with climbing and heights. Has a peaceful vibe too. Great spot.β

Overview
Wooden cubbies sit high among canopy branches, linked by rope bridges and reached by rope ladders or a vertical tunnel. Below, kids work through log balances, stump tunnels, and musical poles before taking the giant slide. Salvaged timber beams are labelled with their original city locations. BBQs and boardwalks round out a heritage site that doubles as serious climbing terrain for kids aged 5+.
