Came here for a one-hour trail ride with friends and had an amazing time! My friend handled the booking process but it sounded smooth and easy to deal with. On arrival the staff gave us the waiver form to sign and helped find us helmets - also being very patient with difficult to fit head sizes. The instructor leading the trail checks if we have any prior riding experience - I do have a little but this trail is very suitable for absolute beginners since the pace is only a walk and the horses are so used to the set path, they were basically on auto-ride πŸ˜† My designated horse - Crystal - was absolutely beautiful and very patient with me. Also so nice for photo time, would love to be back again next time πŸ’–

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families wanting a genuine outdoor riding experience in a scenic setting rather than an arena lesson. The one-hour trail format suits children celebrating birthdays or trying horses for the first time. Riders wanting more technical instruction should confirm lesson structure when booking, as guide engagement varies by group.

β€œCame for a one hour trail ride, and while the ride itself was nice, it was difficult to enjoy. The horses had a piece of twine/rope tying the martingale directly to the bit, which prevented the horse from lifting its head. This is not standard or safe tack, especially on uneven trail terrain, as it restricts the horse’s ability to balance and creates a fall risk. I was surprised to see this used in a commercial trail riding operation. I’m sharing this for safety awareness.”
