1 / 3Melbourne Golf Park
π Albert Park, VIC
Two 18-hole mini golf courses and a Trackman-equipped driving range with ball speed and carry distance tracking. PGA coaching available. Rooftop bar with Albert Park Lake views and a modern cafe on-site.
Went for the first time in the driving range. Golf isnβt as easy as I imagined. Iβve had my skin on my hand peeling. Maybe because of the bad gripping technique or the clubs just have rough texture. For first timers, probably make sure you bring a glove with you.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and adults who want a relaxed outdoor activity combining mini golf with a proper driving range. The Trackman data adds genuine engagement for older kids. The rooftop area gets cold in strong winds β bring layers even in summer. First-timers on the driving range should bring a golf glove to protect their hands.

βGolf is a great sport for both relaxation and focus. Itβs enjoyable for beginners as well as experienced players, offering a good mix of skill, patience, and strategy. Spending time on the course is refreshing, with open spaces and a calm atmosphere. Itβs also a nice way to stay active while enjoying nature. Overall, a fun and rewarding experience for anyone who enjoys outdoor sports.β

βPark renovated recently and it's a big improvement on previous operations. Attended an event upstairs which had good quality food. Golf was fun but the tracking system is pretty dodgy. If attending an event upstairs be aware that even in a warm day it gets cold. Strong winds make it very chilly. Take a jacket as there's no protection from elements.β
