Nice beach with a decent amount of shade. Stuff same with Some bigger pebbles as you get further into the water.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families wanting a low-effort coastal walk with an educational wildlife component. The paved track suits all ages including prams and early walkers. The turtle conservation centre is the standout for kids interested in wildlife. Extend the visit by walking the beach section both ways.

β€œGreat walking track that leads onto a pristine patch of Queensland beach, with sweeping views of ocean, sand, and wildlife. Once on the beach, there's a number of access points leading out, including ones that lead to the turtle centre.”

β€œDidn’t realise we’d stumbled upon the conservation centre which you probably have to buy tickets from - walking track is free though and very nice! You can see cages ?for the turtles to lay eggs? You’ll probably have to pay tickets for the tour because I don’t know”

β€œThe track itself is asphalt, so easy walking. Jandals would be fine. Excellent for biking. We walked along the sand one way and the track back. Not a great deal to see but if you wanted a break from the car, it's just fine. Pretty beach. The turtle centre is informative. $14 to go through to the information, otherwise it has some free information a cafe and toilets.”
