We went there and the rockpool is just seriously amazing. It's shallow enough for you to stand. And when you go to the end, fresh seawater flows through (although it's very cold) but it's such a nice and fresh feeling. The view is amazing as well as you can see the waves crash onto the rocks. There's also rockpool for the kids next to the adult one :)

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with kids who can walk across soft sand independently and are comfortable in open tidal water. The dedicated children area suits younger swimmers, and the calm conditions are a genuine alternative to surf beaches. Sunrise visits reward early risers with extraordinary light and fewer crowds.

β€œSydney’s rock pools are famous and rightly so. This one is somewhat unique as it’s out on the point and therefore some distance from the main part of the beach. The water is refreshed by the tides regularly and offers a calmer option than the surf or for swimming laps. Definitely worth a dip here.”
