This experience was phenomenal. It truly exceeded any expectations. The entire vibe of the staff from the moment we picked out our wetsuits to when we were dropped off was so positive and engaging. We were so lucky to see dolphins, jump, play and the calf with its parents. Then to be able to swim with wild seals so closely is something i’ll never forget. There was also an opportunity to snorkel and see sea dragons as well. We loved the way that there was free food and drink options such as coffees, wraps and banana bread offered throughout the trip; it makes you really feel that family owned experience whilst on board as opposed to another commercial trip. Thank you guys SO much & can’t recommend enough.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with confident swimmers aged 8 and up who are comfortable in open water and wetsuits. The deck sightseeing option works for non-swimmers, families with young children watching from the boat. Seal swimming requires a separate premium add-on β€” check at booking if that is a priority.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Book the sightseeing option for non-swimmers or younger children who cannot enter open water
⏰Confirm the dolphin guarantee policy at booking β€” a free return within 30 days is offered if none are sighted
🎟️Seal swimming is a separate paid add-on β€” clarify at booking if that is a goal
πŸš—Meals are included β€” banana bread and chicken wraps mentioned by multiple reviewers

β€œThank you for an amazing time. We actually did this twice... the first time we didn't see dolphins so they offered a free return visit in 30 days. So we went back the next day! The crew were brilliant, making sure everyone had a good time. The seals were a bit sleepy both times we went out but were cool to look at up close. Highly recommend - this is an awesome tour.”

β€œWe really enjoyed our experience. Our group included a mix of swimmers and sightseers, and everyone had a memorable day. The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, and the banana bread was delicious. After swimming with dolphins and seals, the chicken wraps were a much-appreciated treat. Thanks for an awesome experience Moonraker”

β€œGreat trip! We saw dolphins, seals and sea birds. The tour was informative, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the boat wasn’t packed so it was easy to see all the wildlife, especially when the dolphins kept swimming underneath the boat so we were going from one side to the other!”
