1 / 3Moora Park
đ Shorncliffe, QLD
Foreshore park on Moreton Bay with playground swings, BBQ areas, public toilets, a long fishing jetty, direct beach access, and calm water suitable for paddleboards and SUPs. Coffee shop is across the road.
A small quiet park with local coffee shop nearby and walk down the path to the foreshore. Always some families having fun with their kids there. I park here and start my long runs across the Redcliffe bridge and back. Nice flat track.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting a relaxed, unhurried half-day with multiple low-key options rather than a structured activity. Fishing gear, paddleboards, and bikes all work well here without needing to book anything. The bay views and shaded grassy areas make long picnic sessions comfortable.

âCalm waters, lots of shaded areas, pier and coffee vans. Would be a great spot to launch paddleblards, sups, etc and ride the Moreton bay cycle route start to Redcliffe.â

âOne of the many magical places in Sandgate and Shorncliffe to go and spend some time and while away the afternoon, with ocean views & lots of trees to lay under in The shade on the beautiful well kept grassy knoll and it's definitely worth a visit. There's even a cafe across the road from it if you're feeling hungry or want to get a coffee. Thanks to life and creation, it's a magical place with some swings and climb able trees for younger folk or young families. Go & you will have a enjoyable experience.â

âReally well set out with swings for the kids, BBQ's with plenty of seating and tables. Public toilets. Take the fishing gear and wet a line, you can go onto the long jetty, fish from the beach and a rock wall. Maybe taking a walk is your thing plenty of walking paths, they also have some electric scooters you can hire, Easy accessible for wheelchairs. So if you looking for a fun family day out then head on down.â
