It's not big, but it's one of the best parks in Melbourne. It has several water-based attractions. By moving the seesaw, water sprays out from another piece of playground equipment. This trick is really cool. There is also a very unique playground equipment in the shape of a ship. The benches are covered with seats and adults can rest in the shade. Families will also appreciate that there are restaurants and restrooms parking lot nearby. Plus, the view of the ocean and skyscrapers from the park is stunning!

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 2-9 who want high-quality equipment with water play and genuine views over Port Phillip Bay. The seesaw-activated sprinkler mechanism is a standout feature that holds older children's attention well. Pack spare clothes or swimwear for water play visits.

β€œWonderful playground for kids and adults. There are seesaw, pumps, rock decoration, a sand pit in the playground and a cafe, public toilets and parking space around it. The equipment is amazing. You can go to the nearby beach and walk or jog along the walking trail. Look after your children carefully because there are running bikes. Sunscreen is recommended.”

β€œSuch a great park with lots of shady seating and grassy sunny spots too. Excellent safe and fun kids facilities… including a giant wooden pirate ship, water play and seesaws. Lovely bay views plus toilets and a cafe serving great food (coffee and chai average… bit weak!)”

Overview

This compact Brighton playground delivers a dense set of features in a small footprint: a large wooden pirate ship, seesaw that triggers water sprinklers on separate equipment, three in-ground trampolines, a birds nest swing, shaded sandpit with water pump and a memorial seating area with bay views. A cafe, public toilets and parking are all adjacent. The site borders a shared bike and walking path β€” supervision needed at the edges.
