1 / 3Raging Waters Sydney
π Prospect, NSW
NSW's largest waterpark featuring water slides, a wave pool, lazy river, and Calypso Beach. Located in Prospect, 40 minutes from Sydney CBD, with on-site parking and cafe facilities. Season passes and express tickets are available.
Had a fun day at Raging Waters, but there are some things that could be better. I waited about 2.5 hours for one ride. It was worth it in the end, but the queues are way too long. Food is way overpriced. I paid around $34 for 3 small slushies and two ice creams (a Drumstick and a Mint & Cookie stick), so Iβd definitely suggest bringing your own food. The cost for a family of 5 for just one day is ridiculous, around $300. You could get a Silver Pass for about $400 for the whole season (excludes Saturdays in January), which feels like a much better deal. Parking is also $16 every visit, which is pricey. $10 or below would be more reasonable. Overall, itβs a very fun park with great rides, but be prepared for long waits and high prices.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with teenagers who want a full day of high-energy waterslides and don't mind queuing. The wave pool and Calypso Beach are the go-to alternatives when ride queues stretch to two hours or more. Families with toddlers can use the dedicated shallow areas.

βWet and wild - slip and slide heaven! Visited with the 3 teen kids. We had the multi pass which included this park. The rides are great and lots of variety. The only drawback is the lines can be extraordinarily long, and waiting up to an hour for a ride very quickly consumes the day. Wave pool and calypso beach are a great option for a slower pace. Summer brings movies in the wave pool which is a fun option to enjoy the day.β

βGood fun. Big rides, tubes some places and leaking, rusted and gave me jitters. I know it will not break but it gave me such doubts and hallucinations of Final Destination. Park has to and can maintain it better. Have been to water parks In Singapore which doesnβt have leaks. While it is so much fun. Good rides park surely can maintain themselves better. Otherwise we will hear one day, unexpected accident at Raging Watersβ

βOverall a good aqua ride park for all ages. I suggest to have a ticket for a people who enter as carer and not participate in any rides such as babysitters, carers etc. Can be overcrowded during holiday period. Cafes are premium priced as you can expect but if optimised would be nicer.β
