“Came for the horror escape room on a Saturday afternoon, thought the staff were great, very informative, enthusiastic and welcoming. However I felt the standard of the escape room was sub-par. Small room, found the puzzles to be either too simple or overly difficult, and skipped puzzles we were working on, meaning we finished with ten minutes to spare. I’d come back for the other activities offered here and maybe to try the food as it looked nice, feel for an escape room there are much better experiences on offer in Sydney.”

“My group and I go to escape rooms regularly and decided to try the Strike Escape $25 pp deal. We tried the Cursed escape room, which is a “smart” room that will give you clues and even solve puzzles for you if you take too long. Annoyingly, you won’t always know whether you actually solved a puzzle or if the room decided you needed help. The clues can also apply to multiple puzzles, and a lot of the solving felt more like guesswork than logic. The other problem with this room is that audio clues are too hard to hear with the loud music playing outside in the Strike Bowling area which also takes away from the room's haunted ambience. I might try other Strike escape rooms if they stay at $25 pp, but probably not at full price. If you want to try a good escape room in Sydney, I’d recommend Strange World or Cypher Room”

“Went to the escape room 'old haunt' staff were friendly but the room itself being fully automated didnt give us our usual escape room experience. The puzzles solve themselves after a short time period meaning the satisfaction of finally getting a tricky one right was somewhat lost. There was also not always a logical progression of what to do next which is really useful when doing escape rooms. The bowling alley and music outside the room made it almost impossible at times to hear important information in the game”
