Attended Variety Livvi’s Place Edgebrook today and we had such a great time. I can’t comment on the toilet facilities as we didn’t use them, but the playground itself was beautiful. Everything was clean, tidy, and well maintained. The water play was fully operational too (the frog feature just takes a moment to start up), but it works perfectly. Regarding a previous comment about elderly Indian gentlemen using the BBQ area: yes, there was a group gathered there today, but at no point did they feel threatening or inappropriate. I’m a woman and was there with my daughter — they acknowledged us politely, said hello, and continued their own conversations. The families in the playground, including dads with their kids, were friendly and encouraging. A few mums mentioned they didn’t speak much English but still made an effort to smile and interact. Honestly, they were more welcoming than many people we meet at playgrounds. I never felt uncomfortable, and it didn’t impact our visit at all. We were too busy having fun. Don’t let those comments put you off. It’s a great space for kids, and we’ll definitely be back.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children of all ages and abilities — the inclusive design, all-abilities equipment, and fully enclosed space make it one of the stronger playground options in Melbourne's south-east. The water play and in-ground trampolines are the standout draws for toddlers and primary-age kids alike.

I recently visited Variety Livvi's Place Edgebrook Playground with my son, and it was an amazing experience! The playground is well-designed and caters to children of all ages and abilities. My son had a blast exploring the various play structures, climbing frames, and slides. The park is spacious and clean, with plenty of shaded areas and seating for parents. I was impressed by the inclusive nature of the playground. We also appreciated the convenient parking and restroom facilities. Variety Livvi's Place Edgebrook Playground is a fantastic place for kids to have fun and make lasting memories. We can't wait to go back!

Fully gated park. Has heaps of amenities such as power points, BBQ, toilets, shelter, seating, bubbler and even a carpark As for the park it's self it it very diverse ability friendly. Big, medium and small slides. Also has free water play, however it wasn't working the day I went. It also has a dog park across the bridge.
