Wulaba Park in Waterloo features a challenging playground with an enormous slide and climbing structures designed for children aged 5 and above, plus BBQ facilities, clean toilets, grassy picnic areas, and easy access to East Village cafes.
This was lots of fun! The slide is massive and totally awesome for both kids and adults. However, it may be a bit challenging for children under 3 to climb up the tower. But you can help them climb and enjoy the fun together :

Best for families with children aged 5 and above who can tackle the climbing structures independently. Younger toddlers will find most equipment beyond their reach — a baby swing is available for the youngest visitors. BBQs and grassy areas make it a strong picnic destination.

“This was lots of fun! The slide is massive and totally awesome for both kids and adults. However, it may be a bit challenging for children under 3 to climb up the tower. But you can help them climb and enjoy the fun together :”

“Clean, well-maintained park with BBQ facilities and lots of grassy area for sports and picnics. There's a fantastic playground for children 5+ with an enormous slide, though smaller children will have trouble navigating most of the climbing features. The toilet is just one of those public smart cubicles and is not really sufficient for the amount of people here on a weekend. However, the park is conveniently located close to the East Village shopping complex and is surrounded by lots of cafes and restaurants.”

“Lovely playground most suitable for older kids. Unfenced, rubber floored and partially shaded. Tables, BBQs, bubbler, toilet and large grassed area nearby. Some street parking available as park us surrounded by quiet streets and apartment towers”

Wulaba Park's playground is built around a large tower with an enormous slide as the centrepiece, surrounded by climbing structures that reward confident kids aged 5 and up. Rubber flooring, BBQ facilities, a grassy sports area, and a self-cleaning public toilet support longer visits. East Village shopping centre and nearby cafes including Little Ginger are within walking distance. The toilet is surrounded by trees and requires some searching.
