My family and I found the Atherstone Regional Playspace terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed the Traffic Park as well as the Playground.

The traffic park is genuinely unique in Melbourne's west and draws repeat visits from families using it for road safety learning. Bring bikes or balance bikes for the traffic park circuit.

“Great park with lots of and varied age appropriate play equipment for the kids. The stand outs appear to be the Flying Fox, not just for kids, lol, and water play area. Adjacent is a kids traffic area where you can teach your kids road rules in a safe space. Has roads marked with working traffic lights. Well worth the time to visit.”

“This is a great little park Safe for toddlers to use. They have 2 big slides and a small size good for kids as young as 18mths. There is an outdoor gym and net swing. No toilets No BBQ. Coles is a short walk around the corner as is Cobblebank train station”

Atherstone Regional Play Space packs an unusually diverse equipment list into a fully fenced site. The traffic park with painted roads and working traffic lights is a standout feature for teaching road rules in a safe environment. Elsewhere, a flying fox, three in-ground trampolines, water cascade with hand pump, large birds nest swing, and integrated art spider cubbies keep varied age groups engaged. Two shelters and BBQ facilities are on site.
