1 / 3Middle Park Village Playground
📍 Melton South, VIC
Two distinct play areas in Melton South — a toddler zone with percussion pipes, spinning cup, and birds nest swing, plus a tall tower with twisting metal tunnel slide and rope ladder climbs for older kids. Basketball half-court and open oval on site.
So much fun So much space Freely hanging swing Small slide for the little kids Big climbing webbed slide for older kids Plenty of open space to play games as well. And yes even a basketball court as well. Really loved all of it.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with siblings across different ages — toddlers get their own safe zone and school-age kids tackle the tower and basketball court without clashing. No toilets on site, so plan stops before arriving. Not a destination park by itself, and one of the better local free options in Melton South.

“A good little park with two play sets, good for both younger and older children. It also has a sheltered seating area and a basketball hoop, though I will mention that the backboard is a tad small as is the area to shoot from. You will most likely not be practicing 3 pointers here. My last note is that this park is skater friendly, with all concrete seating blocks having rails to grind on. Overall a good park, but I wouldn’t necessarily travel from a far way for it.”

“Nice little park, the toddler playground hosts a little slide and easy climbing for little legs, was nice to see little ones catered for. The picnic table area was well shaded, but only composed of a couple of tables. There are no toilets here, but there is a drinking fountain.”

“Good park for kids to play in the structures, slides, basketballs and many more. Ample space and pedestrian paths for kids to enjoy cycling inside the park. Adults can enjoy long walks circling the park. Don’t have BBQ place and exercise machines.”

Overview
Middle Park Village Playground separates its equipment by age: the toddler section has a mini see-saw, percussion pipes, spinning cup, and small slide on soft ground, as the main structure features a tall tower accessed via circular nest climbers and rope ladders leading to a twisting metal tunnel slide. A basketball half-court, shelter with tables, water tap, and wide grassy area complete the park. Concrete paths make it popular with scooters and skaters.
