“I adore the Australian Cinémathèque. It's world class, and actually, I don't think there are many places in the world as lucky as we are, to have such a venue, where the most memorable, most astonishing, most talented films made just about anywhere, ever, are made available to everyone and anyone, mostly with free admission. It's my go-to place, I can't say thank you enough for the fabulous film experiences I enjoy there on a regular basis. It enriches my life and my leisure immeasurably.”

“I can't quite believe this cinematheque exists in Brisbane. My only gripe is it took me so long to realise it was there. It's world standard. The cinema itself is a beautiful space and the films are largely free admission. The curation reflects a great love of film history, with newer quality films also sprinkled into the program. This is a must visit for any locals or visitors who love cinema and want to catch beautiful rarely seen films on the big screen.”

“This used to be a cinema were people from all walks of life could go to view incredible rare films. Over the last few years screenings have become more and more 'ticketed', severely limiting access to the lower socio economic community (which I am apart of) who respected, appreciated and looked forward to visiting the cinema at Goma.”
