Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre I recently visited the Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre in Melbourne, and it was a fantastic experience overall! This new facility truly has so much to offer despite its relatively compact size. The highlight for me was the water playground and slide, which are perfect for kids and families looking to have some fun. The swimming pool is well-maintained and a great spot for both leisure and fitness swimming. With Melbourne’s current heatwave, this centre provides a much-needed escape from the scorching temperatures. However, if you’re not swimming, the facility can feel a bit warm, so keep that in mind. What really impressed me was the presence of plenty of lifeguards. They were attentive and professional, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Safety is clearly a top priority here, which is very reassuring, especially for families with young children. The only downside was the cleanliness of the toilets. While they were functional, they could definitely use more frequent cleaning, especially during peak hours when the centre gets busier. Overall, the Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre is a fantastic addition to the community. It’s a great place to cool off, stay active, and enjoy some family fun. With a bit of improvement in the cleanliness of facilities, it would be absolutely perfect. Highly recommend checking it out!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children who span toddler to school-age — the dedicated toddler pool, splash area, and large slides cover a wide age range in one visit. The 120cm height minimum and extra charge for the large slides means planning ahead for mixed-age groups.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Large waterslides require 120cm minimum height and an additional entry charge — confirm children's heights before booking
Visit in the morning or early afternoon — afternoons and weekends get very busy
🎟️Lap pool has underwater obstacles near walls and stairs — take care when diving or jumping
🚗The canteen is on the expensive side — bringing your own snacks is worth considering if the venue permits

Excellent school holiday activity for kids. The centre has 2 large water slides for older kids. Entry to slides is $14.50 and kids must be 120cm or taller. The water play area is excellent with 2 smaller waterslides and a bucket that down pours. There is a toddler pool, and another pool for older kids to play as well as a lap pool. The canteen is decent but expensive. Loads of change rooms and toilets. Be careful as patrons can leave these spaces in total and complete mess. Ample parking with disability access to pools.

Good For Kids and adult too, looks Tidy and clean. Kids loved the Slides. In lap area there is something in the water like stairs Or wall that cannot be seen next to the walls of two pools or next to the stairs of pool.when I jumped I hit it with my knee, they haven’t put any notice or Board for warning there .it can be or is a Hazard.I came there from Melton , better than Melton waves. Lots of parking And has cafeteria as well. Came with kids ,kids has Unlimited fun.
