1 / 3Climb N' Play Maidstone
📍 Maidstone, VIC
Indoor adventure playground near Highpoint Shopping Centre with climbing walls for ages 5+, the Acorn Adventure multi-level playground for 12 months+, and Tiny Tails soft play for under-24 months. On-site café and birthday party rooms.
We recently celebrated my son’s 5th birthday at Climb N Play, and honestly, it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The party went amazingly well, guests were happy and full of praise, especially for the food, the play centre activities and the spacious party-rooms. The climbing activities were a huge hit with the kids and kept them engaged and excited for an hour. What really stood out to me was the staff. The managers were fantastic (one of them was Joe, and the other gentleman who wears glasses, both were incredibly supportive and approachable). A very special thank you to our party host Lily - she was an absolute superstar. She kept smiling the entire time, no matter how many questions or last-minute requests came her way. She was so helpful, calm, and genuinely tried her best to make sure everything ran smoothly. The service overall was great and very accommodating, even with last-minute requests from us and our guests. The food was fresh, delicious, and the portions were very generous, honestly, you couldn’t ask for more. Though, there was a last minute rush to empty the room after cake-cutting even the kids were still eating which I see as a key area of improvement, apart from that I can definitely recommend this place for kids’ birthday parties. Some quick tips from experience - - There are party packages available for different group sizes, which you can easily check on the website or by directly calling the play centre. The managers are very supportive and happy to explain everything clearly, service is spot on. - The party room is booked for 1 hour 45 minutes, so planning the flow in advance (cake cutting, packing up, organising giveaways, saying goodbye to guests) really helps everything run smoothly. From my experience, the last few minutes can feel busy with kids still finishing food, some guests leaving, and items needing to be moved to the reserved table outside the room. If you’re mindful of this timing or speak to the team beforehand, the staff are very cooperative and happy to help at every stage. It’s also worth asking management in advance if additional time or support can be arranged to make the wrap-up easier. - Optional but, if you’re planning a larger party (around 18+ kids plus parents), better to ask the team about booking an additional party room. They’ll guide you through what’s involved and help you choose the best option. - Great choice for winter birthdays since everything is indoors, no need to worry about hot weather or humidity etc. - The staff are genuinely very helpful and accommodating, don’t hesitate to speak up or ask for help. Once you communicate your needs, they really look after you. - Lastly, if you’re unsure, visiting first as a regular guest with your child is a great idea. It helps you see which areas of the play centre your child enjoys most and gives you a good pre-feel before booking the party.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 3–7 who want active play, and particularly strong for birthday parties where the dedicated host format reliably delivers a stress-free event. The climbing walls are the crowd favourite for ages 5 and up. Mixed-age families benefit from the separate toddler zone running concurrently.

“We celebrated our little one’s birthday at Climb N` Play Maidstone, and honestly, it was the best birthday celebration! 🎉 We have been to many play centres that hosted Bday parties and decided to give Climb N Play a go, though it was little far for us and the guests, but trust me - we made the best decision ever. 😊🥰 From start to finish (food ordering, room preparations, managing guests), the team made everything so easy and fun. A big shoutout to Hemal and Joe for being so flexible, friendly, and super organised — they really went the extra mile to make the day special. Special thanks to Isabella and Lily for being so friendly, helping us with the cake and service and for entertaining the kids and families. The kids absolutely loved every minute — the slides and play areas are clean, safe, and really well maintained, and there’s plenty of space for them to run around and explore. The rock climbing wall was the biggest hit of the day — total showstopper! Even the parents were impressed watching the kids challenge themselves and cheer each other on. It’s such a great venue for birthdays or just a fun day out. The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and full of energy — perfect for keeping the kids entertained while the grown-ups relax. We’ll definitely be back soon — highly recommend Climb N Play Maidstone to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and memorable experience for the whole family! 😊👏 Thank you!”

“We visited Melbourne for the holidays and found this place by chance on Google, it was the best discovery! It was a perfect place for all three of my kids, aged 3, 5, and 7. They had an absolute blast for 6 hours straight without a single moment of boredom. The reception staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. One of the best parts for parents is the layout; I could watch the kids playing from the table comfortably. Also, the kids spent an hour at the climbing section, and since they were wearing slippers, the staff thoughtfully lent them proper shoes to wear. As we were leaving, they even gave us a cute bag with their logo as a gift since we were visitors on vacation. We are so touched by their hospitality and care. Highly recommended for families with kids of all ages.”

“We booked a party to celebrate my son’s 6th birthday party.. this was easily the best party he’s ever had. The food was fresh and tasty, the coffees were great, the allocated play time and climb time was a perfect balance, but most importantly, the service was 100/10!!! Shout out to our host Lily, you were an absolute angel who showed so much patience, respect and kindness through the wildness and chaos of all the little kids running amuck! Your service was simply outstanding and believe me when I say we will definitely be back for more parties!! Thank you again to the Maidstone team, our party was a massive success and our little boy has a smile beaming from ear to ear! ❤️”
