Simply amazing! The staff was great and the whole experience was unforgettable. Great views from our tent, the food was good (even as non meat eaters), the entertainment and different events was also great. I recommend arriving slightly earlier than they ask. We arrived 30 mins before and got the chance to meet some zoo keepers who were holding snakes and lizards which was very cute! I do recommend booking for a night where it's adult only, made the experience much more enjoyable not having loads of young kids around.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 8+ who can engage with evening programs, handle hills, and appreciate the immersive animal encounters. The terrain involves significant walking up and down slopes. For a quieter experience, adult-only nights are available.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Arrive 30 minutes before the official start to get informal keeper and animal time
⏰Wear comfortable shoes — the site involves hills and significant walking
đŸŽŸī¸Book adult-only sessions if you prefer a quieter overnight without young children
🚗The behind-the-scenes giraffe experience happens the following morning — do not leave early

“What an amazing experience this was! The food was amazing, the tour guides were so knowledgable on all the animals we saw during the night walk. The behind the scenes experience with the Giraffes in the morning was fantastic. The view you get from the campsite over Sydney Harbour was unbelievable.”
