Royal Park Nature Play Playground is an absolute gem for families looking for outdoor fun. The playground is packed with obstacle courses that both kids and parents can enjoy together. It's a great place for kids to burn off energy and explore. A highlight for many is the water fountain, which is a big hit with childrenβ€”just don’t forget to bring extra clothes if they plan to splash around! That said, there isn’t much shade, so be sure to come prepared with hats, sunscreen, and plenty of water. For a more comfortable experience, visiting in the late evening is a smart choice to avoid the heat. If you're planning a family BBQ, you're in luck. The playground is equipped with several BBQ facilities, making it a perfect spot for a full day of fun and relaxation. Overall, it’s a wonderful destination for a family outing, combining active play with opportunities to unwind and enjoy nature.

β€œIf you're looking for a fun place to take your kids, this spot is a must-visit. There are plenty of obstacle courses that both kids and parents will enjoy, but keep in mind that there isn't much shade, so be sure to come prepared with hats, sunscreen, and plenty of water. There's also a water fountain that kids love, so it's a good idea to bring extra clothes if you plan on staying a while. I personally recommend going in the late evening to avoid the heat of the day.And if you're planning a family BBQ, you're in luck! There are several BBQ facilities available for use. All in all, this is a great spot for families looking to enjoy a fun day outdoors together.”

β€œAbsolutely amazing spot, we could have spent all day here. Creative and interesting equipment encouraging children to use their imagination and problem solve, right down to the different paths and access points between areas. Our one year old (not yet walking) was the youngest playing, and so many parents were getting involved too which was great. The big hill was perfect for rolling down, which the 3 year old loved, and we also went on a big walk/bike ride around the park. The pump/waterfall and sandpit combo were a favourite. We were there on a cool day but I can imagine shade would be an issue on warm days. Definitely recommend.”

β€œA great place for families and kids to play, have a picnic, sit and relax and enjoy the views. The trees have matured heaps so lots of shade. Good bbq spots. The water fountain on hot days is a huge hit either the kids. It’s handy to food places and public transport so easy to get to and convenient. Lots of parking around. Free( if you are lucky enough) and paid. Handy for dog walkers with Royal park just behind. And the zoo so nearby too. A full days worth of activities in just one close spot.”
