Excellent new pool with heaps of parking space and beautiful country views. The centre is opposite the Laratinga wetlands and backs onto the Laratinga walking/cycling trail. From the moment you enter you are greeted by a spacious and clean foyer area with some seating in the centre, a cafe to one side and the reception desk on the other. There is also a spacious seating area to the left with tables and chairs. There are three indoor pools: 25 meter main pool, a learn to swim pool (including children's play area), and a warm water pool. Upstairs there is a 24/7 gym. They also offer various classes such as aquatics, pilates and group exercises. Children can be looked after in a specialised Kidz zone for a small fee. Obviously, everything looks and feels bright and clean. From what I can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design and I like the idea of having lockers inside as well as outside the change rooms.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for swimming-lesson families, lap swimmers, and school-age children who can navigate the pool rules independently. Parents of babies and non-walking toddlers should confirm warm-pool access before arrival, as an age-based restriction has left young children sparse to the cooler kids' pool.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Call ahead to confirm warm-pool age policy before bringing babies or non-walking toddlers
Pack water shoes or pool socks — rough tiles in the play pool have caused cuts on young children
🎟️Combine your visit with the Laratinga wetlands walk immediately opposite the centre
🚗Gym membership includes pool access — worth comparing against casual rates for frequent visitors

Signed up for membership for the pool and gym. All the gym equipment is new and kept in very clean and good order. The pool is great for lap swimming. All facilities are very clean. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Glad I chose to join this facility.

The centre is beautiful, clean, the staff are great, the downside is the tiles in the play pool, they are rough, like razor blades, there were 5 adults and 4 children, the youngest being a one year old, we all ended up with skin grated off our feet through touching the pool tiles. The one year old had grazes on his toes, ankles, and fingers, where he was crawling around, we didn’t notice until getting out and getting dried.

Great facility but suprised my 2 month old was kicked out of the warm pool for 'not being over 13years old'. Her hands were turning purple in the kids pool and she was getting uncomfortable very quickly, hence we couldn't stay long. Not worth the entry costs for such a short time. She normally loves the water. The warm pool should be for walking and gentle exercise not age restricted.
