The pool is great, though deep to 2.1m, so may not suit everyone, especially if you are here to do water exercises. It can get pretty busy at times and lanes can get a bit hectic, but off-peak its usually very quiet. There is plenty of parking, including blue badge spwace a for disabled people, and there is alsonfilk access to the facility for disabled people.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with confident swimmers aged 7 and up. The wading pool handles toddlers and non-swimmers well. Speed-designated lanes make lap swimming more organised during peak times. Visit mid-week or early morning for the most space β€” weekends draw large crowds across all pools.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Check the lane timetable online before visiting β€” lanes fill with squads and lessons on weekday mornings
⏰Speed-designated lanes are enforced, so place kids in the correct lane for smooth sessions
🎟️Cafe sells quality coffee and snacks β€” a good reward after long swim sessions
πŸš—Disabled parking bays and full facility access available

β€œBeautiful pool ! The place was buzzing . Loads of room for everyone. Designated lanes as per swimming speeds. A great cafe / shop to grab a treat afterwards. Loads of shaded seating. A few chairs for sitting in the sun also. Kids pool and an inside pool.”

β€œGreat pool and staff are always friendly. Heaps of parking and in a convenient location. Just wished they put up the middle walls on some of the lanes during busy times like the valley pool does. Would make it feel less congested on each lane.”

β€œWe have been swimming here for several years and it is definitely our favourite spot to fit a swim session in. While it is a busy centre if you time it right you can enjoy a quality session without too much disruption from other patrons.”
